    The camera lens captures our surroundings and permits me as an observer and photographer to provide an expressive perspective on the world.  I find myself focusing on nature’s beauty through my travels.  It gives me the opportunity to observe, to step back, reflect, linger and capture beauty in different spaces. The image I see through the lens leads me to explore a subject – its angles, space and light to reveal this complex relationship to others.  I strive to make these images visually moving, providing a sense of wonder and beauty for others, as they have for me.   • Celeste Fondaco

    Celeste has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a pencil and has painted as a hobby for most of her adult life. It is only in the last 15 years that she has become more involved in the art community and actively shows her work. Oil or acrylic is her medium of choice for her large scale floral paintings. She also enjoys working in pastels, watercolor and  clay on occasion.

    Let’s meet again to do some painting out in the open air. Our first plein air meet of the 2016 will be on Thursday March 24, 2-4:30pm.     Magdalena Urbankova was born in Prague, in already non-existent country of Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic. She spent last 20 years in lovely Garden State of NJ. Magdalena is fascinated by the spaces people create as they interact with one another, and enjoys exploring these on the canvas. She also enjoys portraying the beauty of nature.
