I have moved to NYC and love anything creative.  Combining and interpreting nature’s place in my life allows me to infuse my inspiration in every tile, mosaic or song I am involved with.     Watercolor is Ellie’s medium of choice. However, in early 90’s she learned the art of tile painting and began a successful business. It was an honor foe Ellie to have her tile art presented in a showcase house bathroom in Morristown. Ellie has been a member of the ALC for a number of years and has enjoyed participating in the shows at the Municipal Building and at Borough Hall.     Swiss-born Monique Hendricks, a longtime painter of abstracts, discovered a passion for figurative art in 2013 that compelled her to turn professional. A member of the Art League of the Chathams and the Contemporary Art Group in Watchung, she exhibits regularly throughout New Jersey. She grew up in New York City, studied at the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University, spent 10 years making art in San Juan, Puerto Rico and returned in 1991 to New York City.     From an early age, Ann wanted to become a writer or an artist; however it was put on hold while  she pursued a healthcare career instead. An RN with successful healthcare management background wrote and published multiple medical articles.
