I purchased my first camera, a Minolta XG-A in college and have had an on again/ off again relation with my camera through the years. I reluctantly gave up film for a Nikon D70 soon after my children were born. I grew to love that camera, and still have it. Unfortunately, I broke my good lens and had to find a replacement. This year I upgraded to the Olympus E-10 Mark III, a mirrorless model. I take photos of just about anything that catches my eye. Nature, travel, action, street art, people and animals are all good subjects for me. More photos can be viewed at the Photocrowd website.

I have been involved with art most of my life and one of my earliest memories is getting a Jon Nagy drawing set as a gift. I have an art degree and taught art in the public school system for seven years. Feeling unsatisfied, I changed my interest and pursued art therapy education and practice. While raising my children I had a home based business making and selling hand thrown Folk Art pottery. This followed with a career in Activity management in long term care facilities. Winter Show Reception: December 3
The ALC Winter Friends and Family Show will include a solo show featuring the watercolor paintings of Deborah Fennelly, an exhibition of artwork by the general membership and invited guests, and, new this year, a display of mini (6×6- in.) paintings by members. The Holiday boutique will be located in the large community room. The event is open to public and admission is free.
