Park Ave Club is organizing 16th Annual Juried Exhibit. This year’s theme is “Eat, Drink, Be Merry”. Call for Artists – “Sports in Art”
The Therese A. Maloney Gallery at the College of Saint Elizabeth has announced a call for artists. The theme is “Sports in Art” as described on their site: “We are looking for work that captures the excitement, hard work, beauty, difficulty and the conceptual and abstract nature of any and all athletic endeavors, the places where sports occur, the equipment, the crowds, the loneliness, etc.” The call is open to any form of artistic expression: painting, drawing, photography, video, sculpture, mixed media, and installations. Photography – Call for Artists
The Morristown and Morris Township library’s North Jersey History and Genealogy Center invites interested persons to enter their first photography contest. This is an exciting way to celebrate local history through the art of photography. The photographs should be taken by amateur photographers of Morristown and Morris Township parks, streetscapes and structures (interiors are welcome) between April 1st and May 31st. Contestants may submit up to 5 photographs, at 300dpi, electronically to nj.historycenter@gmail.com by June 2nd. Model Release: Photographs that contain recognizable people must be accompanied by a model release form signed by each person photographed.
