Art League of the Chathams Opens Fall Exhibitions 2026

The Art League of the Chathams opens its fall exhibitions today, September 13, at the Chatham Township Municipal Building. The artwork will remain on display through November 30.

        The Lundt-Glover Gallery features Shadows & Light, a group show featuring PJ Aduskevicz, Susan Darienzo, Rita Riekstins Feeney, Nancy Kingman and Debora Thedinga.

        The five artist friends have painted together for years, often working outdoors as members of a plein-air group. Featuring works captured directly from nature or shaped by their shared hours painting outdoors, Shadows & Light celebrates the beauty of the natural world while reflecting each artist’s distinct voice.

        In addition to the featured exhibition in the Lundt-Glover Gallery, artwork by Art League of the Chathams members is displayed throughout the Municipal Building. Together, the works demonstrate the range of talent and artistic perspectives represented within the Art League.

        The Art League is holding a free opening reception today, Sunday, September 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Visitors are invited to meet the featured artists in the Lundt-Glover Gallery, view Art League members’ artwork throughout the building and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

        The exhibitions will remain on display through November 30. Weekday gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free, and the gallery is accessible.
