• Kathy Havens: “Eclectic”

    Kathy Havens is having a solo art show “Eclectic” at the Chatham Library during month of October. Opening reception will be on Sunday, October 1, 2:15-4 p.m. She will have a variety of artworks: pastel, oil, encaustic, and photos.

    Susan focuses on watercolor and drawing. She has studied at The Art Students League in NYC with Sherry Camhy, Greg Frux, Timothy Clark, Frederick Brosen, and Fredick Wong; at Morris County Art Association with Annette Hanna; at County College of Morris with James Gwynne, Todd Doney, and Patrick Gallagher, at the Visual Arts Center of NJ with Victoria Starger, and at the Junior School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

  • Lundt-Glover Gallery presents Maia Kumari Gilman

    Please mark you calendars for September 15th, 6:30-8:30pm. Art League of the Chathams’ Lundt Glover Gallery invites you to the opening of Maia Kumari Gilman’s solo show. The opening for this solo show coincides with the opening of the ALC’s group show at the same location in the strolling gallery. Open to all, free entry. Come and enjoy the company of the artist and the reception.

  • Call for Artist: ALC Group Fall Show 2017

    ALC members get your works ready for the Fall Group Show at the Chatham Township Municipal Building. The receiving is on Tuesday September 12th, 1-2:30pm. The reception is on September 15th, 6:30-8:30pm and co-incides with the solo show of Maia  Kumari Gilman’s works. All current members have an opportunity to show up to 4 pieces in the group show.   • Workshop at the Chatham Library

    The Library of Chatham offers a workshop led by Maia Kumari Gilman, local architect and ALC member. The workshop  “Building Better World through Architecture” is suitable for children 11 years old and up. The children will learn how to transform their world by designing and building a three-dimensional model. They will also explore how architecture can create efficient communities with good flow.  Those interested in a career in architecture will have a tangible model to start their portfolio!  The models created in this workshop will be  shared in an exhibition at the library at the end of the program. When: Wednesdays, July 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 4-6pm. Attendance at all 4 classes required.…
